SUMMARY

Abstract
Postpartum diastasis recti abdominis (DRAM) is a common condition involving the separation of abdominal muscles. It often persists beyond childbirth and impairs core function. Surgical correction is effective but invasive. This study evaluates Evolve Tone, a non-invasive electromagnetic muscle stimulation (EMS) device, to determine its safety and efficacy in restoring abdominal muscle tone and reducing DRAM in postpartum women.

Conclusion
Evolve Tone demonstrated measurable improvement in diastasis recti and core strength with no downtime or side effects. The EMS-based treatment provides a safe, non-surgical solution for postpartum abdominal rehabilitation, offering meaningful functional and aesthetic outcomes. These findings support its inclusion in postpartum recovery protocols.

TOPICS COVERED

  • Clinical use of Evolve Tone for postpartum abdominal muscle reconditioning
  • Study of 32 women within 6 months to 5 years postpartum
  • Treatment protocol: multiple sessions over a defined timeline
  • Measurement of inter-rectus distance (IRD) via ultrasound before and after treatment
  • Significant reduction in IRD among the majority of participants
  • Patient satisfaction scores and core strength improvement
  • No adverse events or complications reported
